Our song is originally First Burn from the Boardway show Hamilton. Nadine and I decided to write our parody song about bread because we both enjoy eating bread and while writing it, it slowly turned into how burning the bread caused a riff into our friendship. While making this parody, we had a lot of fun editing our recording and cherry picking our most favorite parts of what we sang. I also learned that I'm not very good with getting the timing right for my singing parts and I needed Nadine to cue me in order to get my timing decent. Overall, this is a very enjoyable project to do.
